In LA Since 2005, under direction of Alexandra Blackbird Pierre, Blackbird Dance Company has been a performance group and studio space serving Los Angeles area. Now in West Hollywood with classes, rentals, events and performances regularly!
Blackbird is a quintuple threat performer, arts educator and community builder. Professor of Dance, has Masters in Education, ( + so close to her Doctorate in Sports & Performance Psychology (Neuro Studies in Dance- geek) and eclectic choreographer in 70 styles of dance. Oh yeah, she has been performing in acting, dance, modeling and more since she was 4. You will feel at home here- as we understand the many different layers involved in the current generations.
